That's fine and understandable, but it lessens my interest in their end of the book. It was clear that they both valued their careers more than the relationship.

My biggest issue with this book was that I was not sure they should stay together various times throughout the book. Torn between a 4 star and 3, finally went with a three star when I realized that I skipped the sex a lot toward the end. If Aiden and Sam can’t learn to communicate, their separation may prove more than their love can bear.

But Aiden’s career has him on the road much of the time, and the physical distance between him and Sam starts translating into an emotional disconnect. When rekindled lust blossoms into a true romance, it seems like the start of something wonderful. Because when Sam was still grieving five years ago, he broke Aiden’s heart. First, though, he’ll have to get Aiden to forgive him.
